Susan Biddle
Susan Biddle has been a staff photographer at the Washington Post since 1997.
She began her career as a Peace Corps photographer and later worked at the Topeka Capital-Journal and the Denver Post. She joined the White House staff in 1988 and spent five years there documenting the presidency, including the president's official duties and private activities.
Biddle also spent several years freelancing, and her work has appeared in magazines, newspapers and books worldwide. Her book projects include Day in the Life of America, Day in the Life of Thailand and Baseball in America.
Susan also mentors aspiring photographers through workshops and lectures.

Marcy Nighswander

Ohio University School of Visual Communication associate professor Marcy Nighswander has been teaching photojournalism since 1995.
Before that she was a staff photographer at the Associated Press Washington bureau for seven years and was one of a group of AP photographers who won a Pulitzer Prize for their coverage of the 1992 presidential campaign. She traveled to more than 30 countries while covering the White House during the Reagan, Bush and Clinton administrations.
Her first job was as the only photographer at The Review Times in Fostoria, Ohio. She also worked at The Beacon Journal in Akron and The Cincinnati Post.
Carol T. Powers
Carol T. Powers is a freelance photographer who was a White House photographer during the Bush administration.
She began her career as a photo lab technician at the Palm Beach Post, a paper known for its fine photo department, and has been a staff photographer for The Washington Times.
