A reporter and editor in the business press since 1980, Paul McCloskey is currently editor in chief of Federal Computer Week and Civic.com, print and online publications that cover how government uses information technology and how information technology influences government.
He was FCW's first news editor, joining the publication as a start-up in 1987, and also was the founding editor of Civic.com, named 1997 Magazine of the Year by the American Society of Business Publication Editors.
He has been editor of America's Network, a bimonthly magazine for telecommunications industry executives, and a staff reporter for Multichannel News, Cablevision and MIS Week.
