Quark foresees move to media independent publishing

Jurgen Kurz
As director of product management for Quark, Jurgen Kurz is responsible for the strategic direction of Quark's suite of media independent publishing tools, including QuarkXPress, Quark Digital Media System, avenue.quark and QuarkCopyDesk.

Before assuming that position he focused on developing new products related to content management and dynamic content publishing for the direct marketing industry.

Earlier in his career Kurz was a publishing director and multimedia designer for various German publishing houses. His responsibilities included creating print publications and developing dynamic Web and e-commerce sites.
