Amy Hagovsky has been deputy press secretary to U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski since June 2000.

She gained political experience by working on local and congressional campaigns in Cincinnati from 1997 to 2000. She moved there from western New York, where she graduated from St. Bonaventure University.
