Amy S. Friedman
Advisor Today deputy editor Amy Friedman has specialized in writing about financial services for 11 years. She writes and edits several sections of the monthly magazine published by the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Before going to NAIFA in 1998, Friedman served as an associate editor of National Underwriter¹s Life & Health/Financial Services Edition and as features editor of Financial Services Week.

Her interest in financial writing developed after she took a degree in English literature from Barnard College, Columbia University. She is also a semiprofessional singer.
